City Track Club's Goals The Club is founded on the premise that sports training and competition contribute significantly to personal growth during childhood and adolescence, and that dedication to athletics provides a foundation for future achievements. Our aim is that the City Track members will set goals for themselves, work hard to improve, take pride in their accomplishments, cheer the triumphs of others, be dedicated to excellence, and, especially, have fun.

Athlete's Obligations
The Club seeks members who are eager to train and compete. Members are expected to be dedicated to doing their best to adhere to the Club's Code of Conduct and attend practice at least twice a week. Parent's Obligations
The attitude the Club asks from parents is "What can I contribute?" Parents are expected to participate in the Club's fund-raising campaign, activities and to offer assistance on an administrative committee. Our goal is that each member will generate a minimum of $100. Parents are expected to support the Club's program by insuring each athlete's regular attendance at practices and meets.
Expenses & Dues
Expenses are principally met through charitable contributions given by many individuals and through some corporate and foundation funding. Parent-generated funding is from fundraising activities and the annual fundraising campaign which contributes to our budget. Parent support helps us keep the club dues at the $125.00 per season, which represents only a small fraction of the Club's cost per athlete.
USA Track & Field Affiliation
The Club is a member of the Pacific Association of USA Track & Field, the governing body for the sport of track and field in the U.S.
The Pacific and Central Valley Association make up Region 14 of the USATF.
The Club participates in the USATF-sanctioned meets and practices and requires its members to join USATF for a fee of $20.00.
USATF membership includes primary and/or secondary insurance coverage for athletes during Club practices, travel to and from USATF meets and while competing in a USATF meet. (For more information go to the Pacific Association website)
